Alejandro Segura-Mora is a facilitator, national speaker, and founder of Mind Growers, a consulting group dedicated to closing achievement gaps in schools by supporting individuals and organizations with the inner and outer dynamics of improvement—skill-set and mindset. Alejandro provides professional development in the areas of Cognitive Coaching, Adaptive Schools, quality instruction for English learners, and parent leadership development. Alejandro utilizes an equity lens to focus and enhance professional development work with teams on the path to continuous learning and growing. Alejandro is an authorized developer of Agency Trainers for Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools.

Prior to establishing Mind Growers, Alejandro served as an educator and literacy coach in Los Angeles County schools, and taught graduate level courses at Claremont Graduate University. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Ethnic Studies at the University of California at Riverside, and earned his teaching credential, Master of Arts, as well as Philosophy Doctorate in Education with an emphasis in Bicultural Identity Formation from Claremont Graduate University. Alejandro's postgraduate training and continuing education focuses on coaching, adapting, leading and transforming.
