Training Associates

Taryl Hansen is an Associate Trainer of Cognitive Coaching, an experience facilitator and visual communicator. She is the creator and owner of Frame the Message Ink, a company that provides graphics and group facilitation in support of personal and professional learning.

In a process called, LIVE graphic recording Taryl creates colorful frames around ideas right in the moment as they are shared in meetings, conferences and events. Whether it’s brainstorming, vision/mission statements, or strategic planning, her images are key to long term retention and learning, and a springboard for discussion and collaboration.

Taryl is a Board-Certified Educator and holds a doctorate in Teacher Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University. She has over 10 years experience with Thinking Collaborative and has been trained by Grove Consultants International, both leaders in the fields of learning and cognition.

With 25 years in education, Taryl has made it her life’s work to teach in ways that people learn best. She is passionate about providing innovative and unique ways for learners to work together in highly effective, collaborative, and satisfying ways.
